Shhhh!!!! (well, sort of)

I love Twitter. It offers instant access to the words of strangers, friends and companies day or night. It's addictive. The lovely creator, Evan Williams, Tweeted about a profile that I just bumped into as well. It's called SecretTweet and it posts people's anonymous secrets via your twitter feed. They have a website to submit potential TweetSecrets here. Watch out - you can't stop reading!

Reading: Susan Sontag - Journals & Notebooks

I've been keeping a journal for as long as I can remember. In books, on the computer, scraps of paper, envelopes - I write everywhere. Perhaps that is why I was drawn today to the Reborn: Journals & Notebooks of Susan Sontag. This book seems to be snippets from her life ages 14 through 30. I am excited to see how someone made order of it all. It might inspire me to do the same.

Thou Shall Not Buy

It's almost 2009 and I've done my fair share of shopping this holiday season. While cruising the stores and websites I stumbled upon a few "must have" accessories that I resisted. I simply can NOT stop loving the cards by Fabulous Stationary! Maybe it's a throw back to my textile days (my favs all mysteriously include flowers) but...

...I love this site SO much that I sent the link to two friends to encourage an order for their upcoming nuptials! If any of these fabulous prints showed up in my mailbox, I'd be the first to RSVP.

This is my favorite Etsy find for the weekend. The Squirrel Lady print caught my eye but Berkley Illustration has SO many to choose from it'll be hard to settle on just one.

What a fabulous idea! Laundry drops - simple, no mess and an easy to understand website that shows how much less waste their packaging uses in comparison to large bulkly plastic laundry detergent bottles. DROPPS are a MUST have!
